Hat workshop

The best part is that we can now complete the whole picture for our customers!

Hello, I'm Monique,

I was introduced to hat making for the first time during my seamstress training.

My desire to do this one day kept coming back.

I was the first to pass the initial course in the fashion profession and not much later I obtained the diplomas for dressmaker, dressmaker, millinery drawing and dressmaker teacher.

On February 17, 2017, I started working at Tinie Maassen as a seamstress for English bridal fashion.

With our creative ideas, Tinie and I complement each other very well, so that we can make everyone who walks through our door feel happy and satisfied.

While working together in our studio or during coffee breaks, we sometimes talked about how nice it would be if we could make our outfits even more complete with, for example, handmade hats and other accessories.

In my mind I still wanted to train as a milliner.

But due to lack of time it didn't happen.

And then Corona came, many activities fell away, but that gave us the opportunity and time to start the hat course.

Because of the knowledge I already had in the cutting profession, it was easier to complete the course a little faster.

I have now mastered most hat making skills, and I can still often be found in my studio making a nice hat with accessories for the store.

The best part is that we can now complete the whole picture for our customers, no idea is crazy enough, whether it is a hat, clutch, belt or bow tie, we can now make this for you.

My creativity knows no bounds, just ask, I would love to make it for you.
